Barry Cesafsky founded CES Partners, LTD in 2001 and serves as President and Chief Executive Officer. Having been in the executive search field for more then 25 years, Barry brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to each executive search assignment. He has grown a small, boutique retained search firm to become one of the top-ranked healthcare executive search firms in the Country.
Barry’s executive search assignments have included CEOs, CMOs, CFOs, CNOs, CIOs, human resource executives, and senior-level positions for hospitals, healthcare systems, medical group practices, professional service firms, foundations and other large vertically-integrated healthcare organizations. In the new era of healthcare reform and population healthcare, he and CES Partners are also responding to the challenge of bringing new leadership to Clinically Integrated Networks.
He is a Fellow in the American College of Health Care Executives. In 1996, he was appointed to the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Board of Examiners, as the Baldrige Program began considering healthcare organizations for performance excellence. Barry belongs to several other professional organizations including: Healthcare Financial Management Association, Healthcare Information Management Systems Society, American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration, and the Society for Human Resource Management.
Barry attended DePauw University and graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a Bachelor's degree. He obtained his Master's degree in Hospital and Health Administration from Xavier University, where he was recently honored with their Distinguished Alumni Service Award. He also actively serves on the Advisory Board for Xavier’s Program in Health Services Administration.
Barry recently completed a two-year as the Secretary of the Union League Club of Chicago. He currently serves on the Board of the Luminarts Cultural Foundation of the ULCC. He resides in Oak Brook with his wife, Marcia, who is a Senior Broker in the Construction Services Group of Aon Risk Services, Inc.
